Brian

Brian has been consulting for five years. He has worked with public school districts; families and people diagnosed with a vast array of behavioral health needs from bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, attachment disorders to varying degrees of developmental disabilities. As a former teacher in the field of inclusion and special education, Brian has over 11 consecutive years of experience directly working with students, their families and caregivers in helping them overcome obstacles in order to meet their needs. Brian has conducted trainings on positive behavior support, classroom management, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism for regional behavioral health agencies and school districts in northern Arizona. He has also conducted consultations for specialized school programs in various disciplines. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with distinction in 2001. Since then Brian has volunteered in numerous organizations including the United States Peace Corps, Minneapolis Children’s Hospital in the Child Life Department and as a board member and executive officer for a regional health services organization based in northern Arizona. Brian is currently enrolled in the graduate college of Northern Arizona University through the Educational Psychology Department. Brian enjoys traveling with his wife and son, learning about and experiencing various cultures, hiking, restoring classic vehicles, skydiving and snowboarding in addition to helping families and their children and improve the quality of their lives.
