Daniel Davidson is a director of many projects for the Institute for Human Development at Northern Arizona University in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Dan created and oversees the 15 credit Graduate Certificate program in PBS. Many of the graduates from the Certificate program serve as PBS specialists in schools and homebased services for children with ASD. For more that two decades, Dan has been trying to help caregivers understand why challenging behavior occurs, and how to help people improve their behavior through positive and respectful means. Because Dan's primary responsibility is to NAU, his time is limited, but he will help out whenever he can.
